What seemed to be just a normal Sunday at the soccer fields turned into a day that changed our family’s and community’s lives. Allie Estelle was just shy of her third birthday, when a distracted driver on her cell phone never looked before turning in the parking lot and ended Allie’s life.
In the split second, that Allie had stepped off the curb in the lot, she was gone. The driver was going too fast. Was a phone call more important than Allie’s life? Now we are on a mission to share her story and end distracted driving: Allie’s Way.
