May 25, 2023 – (Virtual) Allie’s Way strategy meeting for moving forward in our mission. This is a brain storming call to prepare for the months ahead. 

April 26, 2023 – (Virtual) Allie’s Way will be attending the National Distracted Driving Conference in Washington DC to learn more about the challenges across our country and how to move further forward in the mission to end distracted driving.

March 9, 2023 – (Austin) Allie’s Way & Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas (CLEAT) met at headquarters in downtown Austin to establish a wonderful partnership in distracted driving prevention starting with their support of Allie’s Way Act and of course, Allie’s Way Foundation for future awareness efforts. 

March 3, 2023 – (College Station) Jamie White had the honor of meeting Mr. Stark, Mr. Daniel, and the team at Daniel Stark Law Firm in College Station to establish a wonderful partnership where Allie’s Way will be working with the firm to increase awareness and build Allie’s Way not just across Texas but across the United States. We are very excited about working with such passionate, incredible people who know how to truly make a difference through the magnificent charity work they have already accomplished with other non-profits. 

March 1, 2023 – (Austin) Jamie White visited the Texas Capitol again to meet with Senators and Representatives including Rep. Guillen’s staff regarding Allie’s Way & Allie’s Way Act to build awareness and education about the bill.

Feb 23, 2023 – (Austin) Jamie shared Allie’s story with several Representatives including Representative Heffner’s staff at the Capitol building. 

Feb 22, 2023 – (Austin) Allie’s Way joined Texas Trucking Association at the Capitol for their “Trucking Day at the Capitol” since Texas Trucking Association has placed Allie’s Way Act on their legislative priority list. About 150+ truckers shared their priority list with Senators and Representatives across the Capitol on this day. 

Feb 21, 2023 – (Austin) Allie’s Way Act Rally at the Texas Capitol to share Allie’s story and the new hands-free bill with local media in coordination with AAA & Johnson High School Safe Driving Club (San Antonio). Jamie White along with another victim of distracted driving shared their stories during this event. AAA and Johnson High School students also made statements at this press event to further prove the point that Texas can do better, and we can save more lives together. The students went door to door inside the Capitol speaking to staff of many Senators and Representatives. 

Feb 20, 2023 – (Austin) Jamie White and Madison White had the sincerest privilege & honor of meeting with Senator Hughes to discuss distracted driving, prevalence on Texas roads, new trends among the younger teen population, statistics, and feedback from law enforcement officers across the state. Allie’s Way is extremely grateful for the opportunity to meet with the Senator and wonderful staff. 

Feb 15, 2023 – (Virtual) Jamie White & Chief Perdue had a wonderful discussion about Allie’s Way & Allie’s Way Act Hands-Free bill, how it would be enforced, and the positive support among law enforcement officers in the field. 

Feb 8, 2023 – (Georgetown) Georgetown Municipal Court graciously invited Allie’s Way & Texas A&M AgriLife partner, Mike Guidry, to present about safe driving to their teen court. After the presentation, many teens asked excellent questions about advocacy and how to get involved. Georgetown Municipal Court also created a program where teens watch Allie’s PSA, then write an essay about how it impacted them and how they can become advocates for road safety in their community in order to get their ticket dismissed. It is an outstanding program! 

Feb 7, 2023 – (Austin) Permian Road Safety Coalition & Allie’s Way met to collaborate on events this year where we could work together to promote road safety in West, Texas. They are incredible people, and it is always a pleasure working hand in hand with them on road safety.

Feb 2, 2023 – (Austin) Jamie White shared Allie’s story and awareness with the Lt. Governor’s Office to share our mission and successes over the last couple of years. Lt. Governor Dan Patrick’s staff was extremely compassionate and supportive of our mission. It was an honor to have this opportunity. 

September 29, 2022 – (Round Rock) Allie’s Way Professional PSA was released to the public at the Round Rock Cinemark 14. TXDOT Commissioner Laura Ryan was a keynote speaker. Guest speakers included Lt. Johnson RRPD, Juliette McCawley (Producer) from Mosaic Media, Vina Asaya of South University, Marci Corry of Safe2Save, Mike Guidry of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, & Alejandra De La Torre of State Farm Insurance.uRound Rock Chamber Business Leader Series – CEO Roundtable Participant 

September 13, 2022 (virtual) Participated in a virtual summit with the National Highway Transportation Safety Association & TXDOT 

September 9, 2022 (virtual) Discussion with TXDOT about the upcoming Allie’s Way PSA Release event endorsed by TXDOT. 

September 8, 2022 (San Antonio) Roosevelt High School speaking opportunity to high school students who were also able to try out the driving simulator (provided by Texas A&M) to see how difficult it is to text and drive. 

September 7, 2022 (Taylor) I attended the Pre-Legislative Summit where I met Adriana Cruz, Executive Director of Economic Development & Tourism for the Office of Gov. Abbott. I also shared our mission and progress with Jesse Ancira, Former Chief of Staff for the speaker of the House, Joe Strauss. 

September 6, 2022 (Virtual) Meeting with the Austin Chamber of Commerce to discuss upcoming events and how we could get involved more in the city of Austin to promote distracted driving prevention. 

September 2, 2022 (Virtual) Meeting with Austin City Manager, Spencer Cronk, to further discuss Allie’s Way & a relationship with the City of Austin to encourage safe, undistracted driving. He was very supportive given that they have their city hands free ordinance. 

August 31, 2022 (Virtual) Meeting with Gatsby.com to discuss a partnership for the Allie’s Way PSA Release Event.

August 26, 2022 (Virtual) Met with Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A&M to discuss collaborating on future presentations and events. They have done so much research and advocacy on distracted driving prevention. 

August 23, 2022 (Round Rock) Met Secretary of State, John Scott, at the Chamber of Commerce Power Lunch at the Embassy Suites and discussed future initiatives to prevent distracted driving. Secretary Scott was such a supportive, incredible person with whom I am honored to have made acquaintance. To this day, he supports our mission and our progress. 

August 17, 2022 (College Station) Podcast interview with Dr. Valerie Segovia on the “Path of Most Persistence” podcast. In this interview, we discussed perseverance through our grief journey and how this led to Allie’s Way and the movement forward to positively impact our Texas roads. August 9, 2022 (virtual) First meeting with Senator Zaffirini’s office to discuss future initiatives for distracted driving prevention and how a possible future law might work in conjunction with our law enforcement officers.

August 8, 2022 (virtual) Meeting with Jaso Alexander, Chief of Staff to the Austin City Manager, to discuss partnering with the City of Austin for distracted driving awareness. 

July 20, 2022 (Nacogdoches) Presented Allie’s Way PSA & spoke about distracted driving prevention at the Nacogdoches PD Teen Academy where I was joined by Allie’s older sister, our teenage daughter, Madison White. 

July 14, 2022 (Round Rock) Attended Round Rock Republican Women meeting to discuss Allie’s Way and our initiatives. 

July 12, 2022 (Round Rock) Attended Business Leader Series – CEO Roundtable event.

June 9, 2022 (Midland, TX) Jamie presented to employees of Hardy Equipment Rentals in efforts to build distracted driving awareness in an area where there is a high fatality rate due to these types of collisions.

June 8th, 2022 (Hobbs, NM) Jamie White presented in Hobbs, NM to members of the Permian Road Safety Coalition – While the Permian Basin has 1% of the population living in that area, sadly 11% of fatalities from car crashes are occurring there. It is imperative to build distracted driving awareness and drive those numbers down.

May 25, 2022 (Austin) @ 4:30 pm – Jamie White attended the Austin Chamber of Commerce Mobility Summit 2022 at St. David’s Episcopal Church to meet other professionals in the transportation industry and build connections with people who can help steer distracted driving fatalities in the other direction as we keep seeing the numbers rise. Our goal is to make relentless forward progress to bring those numbers down.  

May 21, 2022 (Austin Domain) @ 1 pm – 3 pm – Kendra Scott Event for Allie’s WayKendra Scott benefited Allie’s Way! Sat, May 21st 1pm-3pm @ Domain location. Allie’s way/Kendra Scott splash page was open on Saturday morning for orders benefiting Allie’s Way!

May 18, 2022, @ 12 pm – 1:30 pm – Service Logic national virtual presentation – Jamie presented Allie’s story & distracted driving awareness at a virtual educational session for a nationwide company called Service Logic. Their lunch & learn was incredible and included Brian Fielkow, Founder of Jetco Trucking Company who now speaks across the country encouraging employers to implement measures to keep drivers & employees safe. Brian often includes Allie’s Way when he is scheduled to speak and we are honored to partner with such an impactful, well-known speaker.

May 17, 2022, @ 12 pm – 2 pm (San Antonio) – Roosevelt High School – Jamie brought the driving simulator (thanks to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension) to Roosevelt High School in San Antonio where students were able to see how difficult it is to text while driving without having a car crash. Jamie was also able to share Allie’s story in hopes of encouraging students not to “Tech & Drive”. The motto here was “Just Drive!” Nothing is more important than safety on the road.

May 12, 2022, @ 11 am – State Congress – Jamie met with State Sen. Zaffirini’s staff to educate the senator on law enforcement’s perspective  on her “hands-free” statewide law so that the bill could be more enforceable. We aim to educate Congressional members on laws that will not only bring our distracted driving fatalities down but produce consequences for violators sending the message that killing or injuring someone else due to distracted driving is unacceptable and will be punishable. The meeting went well and Jamie will be available to all members of Congress however she is needed moving forward to promote safer roads.

May 11, 2022, @ 4 pm (Austin) – JE Dunn meeting – Jamie & Marci (SAFE2SAVE) met with JE Dunn to establish a speaking opportunity to all employees, especially considering they are a construction company and safety is extremely vital in their workplace. We were met with the utmost grace and compassion and the meeting went very well. We are looking forward to working together to bring about distracted driving awareness among construction workers and their families. They are extremely important in our communities and we want to keep them and everyone around them safe.

May 11, 2022, @ 9 am – 2 pm (Round Rock) – Stony Point High School – Jamie presented to the criminal justice classes about Allie’s story and encouraged the students to think about the existing laws and what we can do better not only as a society to end distracted driving but also as lawmakers and changers. SAFE2SAVE was also promoted to encourage drivers to drive undistracted and a safe driving competition was promoted among the student and staff population at Stony Point.

May 10, 2022, @ 9 am – 2 pm (Round Rock) – Stony Point High School – Jamie presented to the criminal justice classes about Allie’s story and encouraged the students to think about the existing laws and what we can do better not only as a society to end distracted driving but also as lawmakers and changers. SAFE2SAVE was also promoted to encourage drivers to drive undistracted and a safe driving competition was promoted among the student and staff population at Stony Point. These presentations were to multiple classes for most of the day so though these were long days, the impact on the students and the critical thinking that Allie’s story influenced was priceless! It was well worth the emotional stress to see how much this affected the students so hopefully they will go out into society and encourage safe driving among their peers & family.

May 6, 2022, @ 2 pm (Austin) – Lonestar Logos – Jamie & Marci (SAFE2SAVE) had the pleasure of meeting with Lonestar Logos in a partnership to spread awareness & build community support for undistracted driving. Lonestar logos is an incredible company with a passion for ending distracted driving fatalities. We are honored to partner with them moving forward and believe that we will make amazing progress on ending distracted driving deaths on our roads.

May 2, 2022, @ 6:15 am – 11 am (Round Rock) – Abbott prayer breakfast – Jamie had the extreme honor of being invited to Gov. Abbott’s prayer breakfast with Michelle Evans (State candidate for HD 136). Mrs. Evans introduced Jamie to many incredible pastors, business people, and elected officials who were all there to pray for our country and discuss Christian values in government. It was an event to remember as Jamie had the sincere pleasure of meeting Gov. Abbott and sharing Allie’s story with him in hopes of encouraging future legislation and safe driving campaigns that would drive down fatalities on Texas roads.

April 30, 2022, @ 10 am – 2 pm (Round Rock) Healthy Kids Day at the Williamson County YMCA! Jamie was hosting a booth at Healthy kids day with Allie’s story on a poster board to encourage undistracted driving among teens and parents. Jamie had a game that the young kids could play while the parents and teens spoke to Jamie about Allie and the need to “Just Drive” when on the road. There were about 100 people that stopped by the booth so we hope that this message rings loud and clear in the community in Round Rock.

April 29, 2022, All Day (Round Rock) – Public Service Announcement Filming – Mosaic Media Film Crew came out to the “White House” to film interviews with Jamie White & Chris White, as well as film B-roll of Allie’s toys, crib, clothes, photos and anything that Allie loved so it could be used in a public service announcement sponsored by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension & State Farm. In the afternoon, Mosaic Media and all the “actors” came to the park to film a semi re-enactment of what happened to Allie so the PSA could be as impactful as possible for drivers of all ages in efforts to use this in a statewide awareness campaign. The only way to truly impact drivers is to put the driver in the place of the victim while they watch. The idea is to make sure drivers don’t become complacent with their technology and fully understand the risks that they choose to take when they pick up that phone while driving.

April 29, 2022, @ 10 am (virtual) – TXDOT Odessa Traffic Safety Coalition – Jamie took a break from filming the public service announcement to hop on a virtual call with TXDOT Odessa in order to present Allie’s story to the employees for building distracted driving awareness through Allie’s Way. TXDOT people care about safety and it is always a pleasure having the opportunity to work with them, even though it was virtual.

April 26, 2022, @ 6 pm – 8 pm (The Woodlands, TX) –College Park High School – Jamie White presented at College Park High School with Kaylee Mills Foundation, SAFE2SAVE, & Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Jamie met amazing advocates for safe driving including change-makers from Memorial Hermann Hospital and deputies from the Woodlands Sheriff’s office.

April 25, 2022, (Austin) KVUE – KVUE highlighted Allie’s story as she was selected to be the Face of Distracted for TXDOT in April for Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

April 20, 2022, @ 1 pm (virtual) – Sirius XM – Jamie White presented Allie’s Way on Sirius XM Road Dog Trucking radio show with Brian Fielkow (Jetco Founder and former CEO)

April 20, 2022, @ 7:40 am (Gatesville, TX) – Gatesville High School – Jamie White spoke at Gatesville High School and had the pleasure of meeting an incredible DPS officer from Belton who is also very passionate about distracted driving awareness. Jamie presented alongside Mike Guidry from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension whose presentations always grab the attention of the audience promoting safe driving skills and focusing on the road.

April 19, 2022, @ 4:30 pm (Round Rock) – KXAN interviewed Jamie White about Allie’s Way and distracted driving awareness month. Jamie shared Allie’s story again in the park where it happened and discussed how drivers can be safer and focus on the road to prevent this from happening again.

April 19, 2022, @ 9:30 am (Virtual) – TXDOT San Antonio Safe Driving Coalition – Jamie presented Allie’s story to TXDOT employees in San Antonio (virtually) encouraging them to not only drive undistracted themselves but also to share out the message about Allie’s Way, SAFE2SAVE, & Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Empowering employees with information and a victim’s story is always so beneficial when they are out in public working on spreading the message as well. TXDOT is out there in the public and advocates for safe driving so we definitely want their people to be encouraged and motivated to make a difference.

April 18, 2022, @ 9:30 am (Austin, TX) – TXDOT Media Campaign – Jamie White spoke at the Media in the Mall event for TXDOT’s “Talk, Text, Crash” Campaign at Barton Creek Mall. Allie Estelle White has officially been chosen as the state-wide “Face of Distracted Driving” for the month of April (Distracted Driving Awareness Month) by TxDOT.

April 14, 2022, @ 9 am (Lufkin, TX) – TXDOT Lufkin Event – Jamie White spoke at the TxDOT Lufkin District Safety Banquet to over 100 TxDOT workers and employees in that area in Diboll Civic Center. Jamie shared Allie’s story and included Texas A&M’s research and awareness on distracted driving. Jamie also explained SAFE2SAVE as a way to encourage good driving habits that will last long term.

April 12, 2022, @ 10 am (virtual) – National Safety Council – Jamie White presented Allie’s story to the National Safety Council on a zoom presentation called “Safe Fleet: The Foundation” hosted by renowned speaker/Former CEO of Jetco Trucking, Brian Fielkow.

April 10, 2022, @ 3:30 pm (Round Rock, TX) – William Catholic Church Youth Group – Jamie White presented Allie’s story to the middle school religious education class at St. William Catholic Church. The main focus of the presentation besides distracted driving prevention was surviving tragedy and trials in this life through unwavering faith. Jamie answered questions about how to overcome the feelings of grief by believing that God has got this and carries us through extreme trials that would otherwise tear us down and break us apart. Jamie also discussed Texas A&M and their phenomenal efforts to build awareness about driving safety as well as the SAFE2SAVE App which rewards undistracted drivers.

April 9, 2022, @ 8 am (UTSA San Antonio, TX) – Fiesta Fit Event – Jamie (Allie’s Way) worked a booth with Marci Corry, Founder of SAFE2SAVE, University Health, and Christine from TXDOT San Antonio at Fiesta FIT, a celebration/5K/bike ride in the University of Texas, San Antonio parking lot. Jamie was able to speak to hundreds of people, share Allie’s story & her photo on a poster board, and encourage drivers to download the SAFE2SAVE App to enter the San Antonio safe driving competition that ends June 1st.

April 7, 2022, @ 8:30 am (San Antonio) – San Antonio Mayor’s Safe Driving Proclamation Day – Jamie attended the City Council meeting/Safe Driving Proclamation Day, met Mayor Ron Nirenberg, and then went to the steps of City Hall to present Allie’s story to news media and everyone in attendance. This event was hosted by the Johnson City High School PTSA and was organized to build awareness about distracted driving on this Safe Driving Day Proclamation set up by Mayor Nirenberg. KENS 5 news station in San Antonio covered the event and used a sound bite from Jamie’s presentation about Allie.

April 1, 2022, @ 11 am (Round Rock) – State Congress – Jamie White met with Michelle Evans, candidate for TX HD 136, in order to share Allie’s story and encourage safe driving laws in Texas. It truly takes a village to spread awareness and make an impact. Many candidates are wonderful advocates for causes such as these because they are passionate about safety and want to make an impact once they get into office. Best of Luck, Michelle, and thank you so tremendously for your time and compassion to make our roads safer.

March 26, 2022, @ 9 am (Georgetown) – Allie’s Angels – Allie’s Angels participated in tree planting at San Gabriel Park to benefit Georgetown Parks & Rec as well as spread awareness about distracted driving through community service. We truly enjoy being outdoors and benefiting our communities. We couldn’t think of a better way to spread awareness while having fun and doing something great for our parks. Many thanks to Georgetown Parks & Rec for being such wonderful supporters and inviting us to be part of your event.

March 25, 2022, @ 8 am (South Austin) – Austin Community College – Jamie met students from local high schools as they stopped by Austin Community College Health and Wellness Fair. Jamie was able to share Allie’s message to drive undistracted, encourage SAFE2SAVE App users, and bring more awareness to the prevalence of distracted driving. The majority of the high school kids who attended were from schools in areas of disadvantage so the students have already overcome so much just to be able to have the resources available to get a good education and set their eyes on a career or college. It was an honor to be able to speak with the students and not only teach them something but also learn something about them such as how hard they work to be successful.

March 11, 2022, @ 11 am (virtual) – TXDOT Statewide Campaign – Jamie White was interviewed by the Sherry Matthews Group (TxDOT Public Relations Firm) as Allie Estelle White has been chosen by TxDOT to be their state-wide “Face of Distracted Driving”. This interview will be shared with media outlets throughout Texas.

March 8, 2022, @ 9 am (Round Rock) –PSA Filming – Allie’s Way filmed a short PSA with Jamie White at Double File Trail Elementary to be shared with all the parents within RRISD. It included clips of previous media coverage of the incident and current interviews with Jamie White about the severity of driving distracted in a school zone. This PSA was sent to all the parents in RRISD on April 15, 2022.

March 7, 2022, (Radio) – Roy West Show 560 AM – Spreading awareness to the Beaumont area and beyond! It was an honor to be a guest on the Roy West Show 560 AM. Here is a preview of the show which will be aired on March 27th!

March 4, 2022, @ 9 am (Round Rock) – Round Rock Chamber of Commerce Event – Allie’s Way joined the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce and attended the very first event, hopefully of many. It was a mid-morning mixer where many local businesses gathered to network and discuss how we can help each other in the community. This is where Jamie met and became great friends with one of the executives at South University. Jamie is always so grateful for the friends she makes along the way and the professional relationships that she develops. It could be said many times over that it takes a village to make a difference and this is the village.

March 3, 2022, @ 9 am (virtual) – KWHI 1280 AM – Jamie White was a guest speaker on KWHI 1280 AM Brenham sharing Allie’s Way & SAFE2SAVE, building awareness and bringing a solution to an ever-growing problem on Texas roads.

Feb 22, 2022, @ 1:30 pm (Austin) – TXDOT – Jamie met with Commissioner Ryan at TXDOT to share how Allie’s Way is progressing on the movement to decrease traffic fatalities through distracted driving awareness campaigns and speaking opportunities. It was such a successful meeting as we discussed the initiatives that Allie’s Way is working on as well as TXDOT’s goals for ending traffic fatalities. Everyone working together makes the seemingly impossible, possible.

Feb 10, 2022, @ 2:30 pm (virtual) – Texas Transportation Institute – Jamie presented Allie’s Way to Texas A&M Transportation Institute with Mike Guidry from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. This presentation was so important in working with TTI since they are the key to all of the research and statistics about distracted driving across Texas. They are such a critical part of the mission to end distracted driving because they have the numbers to show how prevalent these crashes are on our roads. Thank you TTI for all that you do to help in the mission to end distracted driving.

Jan 28, 2022, @ 11 am (virtual) – National Safety Council – Jamie presented Allie’s story on the Safe System Approach in Action virtual webinar for the National Safety Council. Getting involved with the National Safety Council enables Allie’s Way to shed light on the distracted driving epidemic in Texas and could open doors for future opportunities to share Allie’s message nationwide.

Jan 27, 2022, (virtual) –Houston Traffic Safety Coalition Webex – Jamie presented Allie’s story to TXDOT employees to motivate and further encourage them to keep fighting distracted driving while also using the same technique to keep themselves undistracted on & off the job.

Jan 19, 2022, @ 10 am (Galveston) – Jamie met with the Galveston police chief to discuss distracted driving prevalence in the community and how we could work together to bring those numbers down through awareness, SAFE2SAVE, law enforcement, and moving forward into future legislation. Chief is a very compassionate person who is motivated to work with us to promote safe driving in his community.

Jan 19, 2022, @ 7:30 am (Galveston) – Jamie presented to the Kiwanis club in Galveston in an effort to build community awareness and create contacts that could help spread the message about distracted driving in Galveston, particularly around Spring Break & Summer when crashes are the highest due to tourism traffic.

Jan 18, 2022, @ 2 pm (Galveston) – Ball High School – Jamie presented to Ball High School principal & student council in order to not only spread awareness about distracted driving but to motivate the students to commence their own safe driving competition using SAFE2SAVE. The students were amazing and led with such passion and commitment! Ball High School students did a phenomenal job of promoting their safe driving competition and helping open the doors for SAFE2SAVE to establish competition sponsors for the prizes.
